Acupuncture

Traditional Chinese medicine operates on the principle that the universe and the body are in a state of constant opposition. The harmonious balance between the two is maintained through the continuous flow of energy. However, when this energy flow becomes obstructed, it leads to the onset of illness. By employing acupuncture therapy, we can effectively release these energy blockages, alleviate pain, enhance sleep quality, improve digestive functions, and promote overall well-being. Our dedicated and knowledgeable team is committed to working alongside you, ensuring that any energy blockages are eliminated, and that you are able to fully experience the incredible benefits that acupuncture has to offer.

Radial Shock Wave Therapy, RSWT

Radial Shock Wave Therapy, also known as RSWT, is a proven technology used to treat sub-acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. This treatment promotes neovascularization and enhances blood flow in tissues, which in turn accelerates the healing process for inflammatory conditions in tendons and surrounding tissues, ultimately providing relief from pain.

Patients will undergo a series of six weekly sessions that will be complemented with chiropractic/rehabilitative therapy and prescribed home exercises.
Studies have shown that combining shock wave therapy with therapy and exercises yields better results in terms of pain relief and improved function during follow-ups at three and twelve months, compared to therapy alone without shock wave therapy.

Active Release

Active Release Technique, or ART, is an innovative soft tissue system/movement- based massage technique that effectively treats various muscle, tendon, ligament, fascia, and nerve problems. Conditions like headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow can be quickly and permanently resolved with ART. The common factor among these conditions is that they often result from overused muscles. How do overuse conditions occur? Overuse conditions occur when repetitive movements are performed without enough time for recovery. This can irritate and sensitize muscles, tendons, and joints, leading to pain and stiffness. Over time, muscles and tendons can become denser and tighter, causing even more pain. These factors can cause your body to produce tough, dense scar tissue in the affected area. This scar tissue restricts the movement of tissues that should be able to move freely. As scar tissue accumulates, muscles become shorter and weaker, tendons experience inflammation (tendinitis), and nerves can become trapped. This can result in reduced range of motion, loss of strength, and pain. Nerve entrapment may also cause tingling, numbness, and weakness. What is an ART treatment like? An ART session combines examination and treatment. The ART provider uses their hands to assess the texture, tightness, and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. Abnormal tissues are treated by applying precise tension along with specific patient movements. What is the history of Active Release Techniques? Active Release Techniques (ART) was developed, refined, and patented by P. Michael Leahy, DC, CCSP. Dr. Leahy noticed that his patients’ symptoms were often related to changes in their soft tissue, which he could feel through manual examination. By studying how muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and nerves responded to different types of work, Dr. Leahy consistently achieved over 90% resolution of his patients’ conditions.

What Our Patients Say About Radial Shock Wave Therapy

I was suffering from pain at my Achilles after running almost all summer last year 2023. The pain was so severe that I could not walk normally, morning was a torture just moving around the house. It was so bad the my right Achilles had a bump making it look deformed. This forced me to stop running completely at the end of August 2023. I rested them for a whole month and the pain decreased a lot but the bump never went away. I tried to run again after feeling better but that just made it worse. Four months passed by and the bump and mild pain persisted. Finally I decided to see Dr. Weber and to my luck he had a new tool work called “Sockwave Therapy” at his office to treat this kind of problems. I took just three sessions of therapy to pulverize the bump on my right Achilles, and after the sixth session I felt much better, both of my Achilles were back to normal. Thanks Dr. Weber for your help.

– Delby V.

I walk about three miles a day but the last few years I have been pulling my calf muscles during my walks. I tried massage, electric stimulation and various soft tissue gadgets that gave me temporary relief at best. I was frustrated and resigned to live with the pain and reduce how much I walk. Dr. Weber offered me Shockwave therapy to break up any adhesions and promote circulation. After six treatments I am now able to walk my normal route and have not had any issues for the past three months. I FEEL GREAT! Thank you Dr. Weber!

– A. L.

Dr. Weber and Dr. Alhout treated my issues with my shoulder and foot using shock wave therapy. The therapy took away the pain after a few treatments. I have a pinched nerve and partial tear in my shoulder and plantar fasciitis and tendonitis in my foot. I never think about the pain anymore because it’s gone! I’m so grateful that Dr. Weber and Dr. Alhout have this machine. It changed my life for the better. I live pain-free now. These two doctors are the best chiropractors practicing right now.
